Hello there:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain relationships with schools in Singapore.

You will utilize the Gebiz bidding system and collaborate with local self-help groups to expand our reach and promote our products/services to educational institutions.


Responsibilities:

Relationship Building:Develop and nurture relationships with schools in Singapore to understand their needs and requirements.
Act as the primary point of contact for schools, providing exceptional customer service and building trust.
Regularly engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders within schools to identify business opportunities.

Sales Strategy:Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to effectively target schools in the region.
Utilize the Gebiz bidding system to identify relevant tender opportunities and submit competitive bids.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.

Product/Service Promotion:Effectively communicate the value and benefits of our products/services to school representatives.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to showcase our offerings.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop tailored sales materials and proposals.

Relationship Management:Maintain regular communication with existing school clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the school client base.
Provide timely and accurate reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.

Collaboration with Local Self-Help Groups:Liaise and collaborate with local self-help groups to leverage their network and support in targeting schools.
Participate in relevant events, conferences, and meetings organized by self-help groups to establish connections.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a Sales Executive or similar role, with a focus on relationship building and business development.
  • Familiarity with the Gebiz bidding system and experience in tender submissions is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the education sector in Singapore, including an understanding of schools' procurement processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build longterm relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities to influence decisionmakers effectively.
  • Selfmotivated and targetdriven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet sales targets.
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using the Gebiz bidding system for tender submissions and tracking.
  • Familiarity with the procurement processes and policies followed by schools in Singapore.
  • Knowledge of the education sector, including an understanding of the curriculum, school operations, and key stakeholders.
  • Experience in utilizing CRM software to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and generate reports.
  • Ability to navigate and leverage online platforms for research, market analysis, and competitor insights.
  • Familiarity with basic sales techniques and strategies, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate product benefits and engage with school representatives.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities to influence decisionmakers and drive sales.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate market trends, identify growth opportunities, and make datadriven decisions.
  • Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage a sales pipeline, and meet targets.
  • Proficiency in using collaboration tools and platforms for remote teamwork and communication.
  • Basic understanding of customer relationship management principles and practices.
