Job Title: PMO Officer

Location: Singapore

Department: Country Management team

Reports To: Country Manager/PMO Director

Overview:

Being a PMO Officer means being at the core of managing top-notch projects and pre-sales support in diverse sectors in a lively IT consulting and professional services setting.

This role demands solid organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Governance and Standards:

- Ensure deliverables align with business objectives and value
- Establish, implement, and uphold project management methodologies, standards, and tools.
- Aid project managers in project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Offer guidance on project management tools and best practices.
- Conduct project kick-off meetings, status updates, and closure sessions.

Resource Management:

- Support resource planning and allocation for projects.
- Maintain an updated resource capacity plan for optimal utilization.

Risk and Issue Management:

- Identify, analyze, and monitor project risks and issues.
- Develop mitigation strategies and assist in their implementation.
- Manage a risk and issue log for timely resolution.

Qualifications:

Mandatory qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or related field.
- Possession of PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL, or other project management certification.

Experience:
- 5-7 years in project management or PMO role, preferably in consulting or professional services.
- Proven track record in supporting successful project delivery.

Skills:
- Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, etc.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problems-solving skills.
- Team collaboration skills.

Additional Information:

- Bilingual fluency preferred (English, Chinese).
- Occasional travel to client sites may be required.
