The opportunity:


The Head of Retail reports to the Country Manager and will have full responsibility for the success and growth of the Retail stores within the business.

Through building effective relationships with key stakeholders in the business such as Marketing, Ecommerce, Category Management, Supply Chain, Finance and HR, the Head of Retail will help drive in store results to achieve business success.

The Head of Retail will also provide support to all field roles and Store Managers in the areas of coaching and development.


Responsibilities:

  • Create an enthusiastic and successful sales environment focusing on our Sephora DNA and using initiative to implement key strategies for success
  • Collaborating with the Head Office team to play a pivotal role in rolling out new stores across Singapore.
  • Overseeing our stores, mentoring and directing strategies for success and driving sales
  • Nurturing highlevel relationships with the Manager, Retail and field team
  • Evaluating information related to sales, promotions and competitors whilst implementing strategies to target key areas
  • Monthly and Weekly reporting to analyse business trends across sales within each store
  • Managing sales budgets as well as the P & L for each store alongside the Manager, Retail and Store Managers
  • Work directly with the Manager, Retail to ensure store processes and procedures are embedded into the organisation
  • Responsible for a number of diverse roles within the field that assist with the operational effectiveness of the stores.
  • Ensure a consistent approach to leading by working with the team to encourage a platform of continuous feedback and communication between Head Office and the Store Teams

Profile

  • At least 10 years of experience in the retail industry
  • Strong commercial skills, good attention to detail and an eye for customer service
  • Comfortable with financial aspects (budget, daily stores figures...)
  • Strong management skills
  • Strategic thinking
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • International exposure
  • Aligns the team in the mission and vision
  • Understands the importance of team culture and dynamics
