JOB SUMMARY
  • Develop strategic overview including planning and pull-through of all Luxury Brand management & marketing initiatives relevant to APEC continent. Luxury Brands include Reserve, The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, and JW Marriott.
  • Partner with Luxury Brand Leaders at global headquarters, continent, and regional/area resources to ensure exceptional on-brand execution, sustaining Marriott's leading edge as the Luxury Brand Operator in APEC.
  • Align consumer-facing messaging with global and continent brand teams to drive brand reputation.
  • Localize brand expression in APEC markets through various marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate on Luxury Brand proof-points for increased brand awareness in APEC.
  • Create a strategic Brand plan for Luxury openings, focusing on integration.
  • Ensure alignment of all Brand activities with Marriott Bonvoy travel program ties.
  • Collaborate with various teams to enhance understanding and increase Brand equity.
  • Implement efficient media plans for long-term brand awareness and reputation boost.
  • Work with operations teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive Brand preference and market share.
  • Develop marketing programs to continuously enhance brand awareness and performance.
  • Activate relevant Brand Partnerships to strengthen Brand positioning and equity.
  • Oversee Brand photography, contents, and assets in continent.
  • Lead and coordinate on-brand solutions with key stakeholders.
SCOPE

Responsible for managing & marketing luxury brands in APEC:

  • Luxury brands APEC
  • Key project facilitation and integration across APEC
  • Liaison between global, continent, and regional operations and Brand marketing teams
  • Luxury openings

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • Preferably, experience in hotel operations
  • Advantageous to have prior Luxury brand management experience and marketing knowledge
  • 8+ years of management experience, including international work experience
  • Proficient in English and Chinese
  • Experience in collaboration with global brand management team
  • Proficient in budget management
  • Experience in managing strategic partners, agencies, and vendors
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record in project management from conception to execution
  • Ability to think creatively and problem-solve efficiently
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate across disciplines

  • Collaborate to develop a comprehensive marketing plan for Luxury brands

Brand Strategy & Planning

  • Collaborate on key openings and focus hotels within the Luxury brand portfolio

  • Lead strategic Brand partnerships for desired outcomes
  • Advocate for Luxury brands in continent

Brand Performance & Development

  • Implement global brand strategies aligned with APEC and market objectives
  • Localize new brand initiatives in APEC
  • Monitor brand performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams for brand and continent objectives

Operations & Culture

  • Communicate brand updates and education to field and hotels
  • Ensure on-brand implementation of operating standards and procedures
  • Manage luxury onboarding processes and support new hotels
  • Provide guidance for brand-related critical path documents for openings and conversions
  • Plan off-strategy hotels as directed by Brand VP

Style & Design

  • Ensure brand strategy execution in design projects
  • Collaborate to deliver on-brand guest experiences across various areas
  • Guide design aspects for sensory experience programming

Marketing & PR

  • Develop and execute brand marketing programs
  • Execute customer-facing brand communications
  • Develop brand partnerships for enhanced guest experiences

Sales

  • Coordinate brand and Sales approach with Sales Teams
  • Develop luxury brand consumer events with B2B teams
