Business Unit Control Specialist
The Business Unit Control team is responsible for observing and analyzing P&L, risk, pricing processes, and internal financing. This role will primarily focus on developing an in-house financing system, including project management, PM policy, business, and technical specifications, and testing/validation.
Responsibilities
- Focus on Millennium's internal and street financing models, PB financing, margin, collateral, stock loan, swap financing, and repo.
- Manage all aspects of the platform build, from timelines to task prioritization.
- Full ownership of PM financing policy, including new products/strategies treatment.
- Partnership with Operations and counterparties to replicate broker logic across global asset classes.
- Coordinate with development and business analysts for business specifications implementation and validation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- P&L/Treasury/Prime/Collateral background.
- Knowledge of equity financing and fixed income financing.
- Experience with Imagine, Murex, OpenLink is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and demonstrates strong ownership of work.
- Initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing large projects.
- Strong communication and excel skills required; SQL knowledge is a plus.
