THE MISSIONA strategic event account manager plays a crucial role in nurturing the strategic client relationship, coordinating the allocation of resources throughout the organization to offer comprehensive products, services, and solutions to the strategic account.
You will be responsible for managing MCI's Global Account(s) base in Singapore and/or the Asia Pacific region to drive further business growth through strategic communication and relationship management. Your focus will be on contributing to the financial objectives and expansion of the assigned account. Additionally, you will maintain seamless communication and knowledge sharing with the Global Account Director and the operations team in Singapore.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Implement Annual Client Needs Assessment, Account Action Plan, and Personal Action Plan
- Manage relationships with local and country contacts
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of clients' present and future requirements
- Advocate for the client within MCI, ensuring their needs are met and managing the overall client experience
- Adopt a client-centric approach, leverage networking skills, empathy, and cultural awareness
- Identify global account trends and developments
- Cultivate growth within existing accounts in collaboration with Project Managers
- Explore local business opportunities and present innovative solutions to the client
- Spot potential meeting and event opportunities in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region and collaborate with colleagues globally to pursue them
- Create value by addressing client objectives creatively
- Deliver impactful presentations tailored to the audience's needs
- Promote MCI services actively throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead negotiations effectively and manage objections constructively
- Quantify value to increase revenue and market share
- Oversee proposal and budget creation for client pitches and RFPs
- Manage diverse teams and implement relevant processes
- Adopt an entrepreneurial approach and allocate resources based on strategic objectives
- Delegate tasks and empower team members
- Monitor client relationships and resolve conflicts
- Strategically plan and execute account action plans
- Enhance long-term client value and achieve organic growth objectives
- Translate client strategies into actionable plans aligned with MCI's goals
- Balance short-term challenges without losing focus on long-term objectives
- Utilize industry knowledge to advise clients
- Demonstrate the value of MCI products in alignment with client needs
- Uphold MCI's Business Ethics and Sustainability Policy
Report to the Director, Client Success and foster rapport within the team and other departments
Desired Qualifications:
- Business, hospitality, or marketing Diploma/Degree
- 5 years of experience in meetings/events or hotel/hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research skills
- Digital fluency and client-centric mindset
