About the company

Established for over 100 years, our client is a multinational manufacturing company. They are looking for an experienced Assistant HR Manager to join the team in supporting local operations and HR projects.

About the job

This role will report to the HR Manager based in Singapore. Leading a team of two, you will:

  • Manage end-to-end HR activities including talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, performance management and employer branding, payroll checking
  • Drive talent acquisition efforts and build a steady talent pipeline for the region
  • Identify training needs to work with department head in supporting the learning & development requirements
  • Drive HR projects including system migration
  • Develop and implement HR policies and programmes in alignment to business objectives and local legislation
  • Support other HR initiatives

Skills and experience required

  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years as a HR Generalist, with team management experience
  • Strong communication skills and relationship management
  • Solid knowledge of local labor legislation and practices of Singapore
  • Independent and self-motivated
  • Collaborative and a team player
