About the Role:
Our client is a leading speciality chemical company seeking for an Account Manager, Lubricant Additives to drive the growth and development of the business portfolio within SEA, build strong relationships and understand the unmet needs of their customers as well as aligning these with the solutions and capabilities that they can provide as a company.
Responsibilities:
You will be accountable for the short term and long-term development and growth of the business portfolio within SEA. You will autonomously grow and enhance the relationship with our customers. Develop and maintain close working relationships with multiple contacts within the customers' organization.
You will formulate and implement near and long-term strategies to achieve aggressive revenue and profitability targets. Support and develop concepts incorporating company products together with customers R&D and Marketing teams.
You manage the preparation, organization, presentation and follow up of seminars, training, exhibitions etc.
On-going market intelligence to ensure relevant new concepts or products are developed and stay current on competitors' activities, capabilities and technologies.
You work in partnership with Technical Service Engineers to service key accounts and to prospect new accounts. You conduct technical presentation to the customers and articulating their unmet technical needs internally to develop a solution. You also develop and maintain a healthy and strong pipeline of opportunities via the CRM system to fuel growth.Requirements:
Ideally, you have at least 5 years of commercial experience in lubricants, additives or related oil/chemical/OEM industry.
You possess a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
You demonstrate ability to work across various cultures, a go get attitude, willingness to learn new skills, and be open to adapt to an ever-changing market.
Willingness and ability to travel with a highly flexible schedule would be expected.
