  • Qualifies customers' requests for quotation to ensure that a quote will meet the customers' requirements.

  • Provides pre-sales and technical support to customers and distributors
  • Determines customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
  • Reviews more complex project specifications and perform valve, material selection, and actuator sizing. Including submission of any comments and deviations
  • Responds and provide information on product range, and prices and generate quotations in accordance with specifications/customer requirements
  • Recommends alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications
  • Communicates with internal manufacturing locations for queries on costing, lead time, special requirements, etc.
  • Ensures customers' purchase orders are technically accurate as quoted and commercially verified before sending for order entry.
  • Provides guidance to less experienced team members in presales and technical supportrelated work.
  • Provides technical support and attends technical clarifications meeting with sales.
  • Supports department manager in driving continuous improvements by recommending opportunities for improvement in work processes.
  • Leads in special projects as assigned.
  • Ensures compliance with workplace safety rules, including but not limited to the usage of personal protective equipment, if provided to you, while working; not involve in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger peers or oneself; reporting unsafe work conditions and providing suggestions to improve safety/ health at work, as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation & Control Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Flow Control and/or Instrumentation Industry.
  • Ability and willingness to multitask and manage priorities.
  • Matured and independent with good judgment and a sense of urgency on priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent followup and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment, multitask, and manage priorities
