Bill & Pay

  • Direct management of the APAC Bill & Pay team ensuring proactive, resultoriented delivery of finance operations that consistently perform within the business' Best Service Minimum Acceptable Levels (MAL)
  • Ensure contractor invoices are paid accurately and on time, allocated to relevant cost centres and posting in accounts system.
  • Ensure the employed contractor payroll is paid accurately, and on time, with accurate information passed to Accounts for journal postings.
  • Processing of statutory payments in line with Labour Law
  • Verify, approve, and reimburse all contractor expense claims and journal postings.
  • Raise Customer invoices accurately, and on time, ensuring all billing is completed within the deadline.
  • Act as a secondary approver in our banking platform, checking payments before they are made.
  • Check the accuracy of invoices before they are delivered to the Customer.
  • First point of contact to manage commission queries, checking commission accuracy against transactional information. Escalate any queries as appropriate.
  • Ensure that processes within the Bill & Pay team are commercially sound, minimise business risk and are financially effective.
  • Full responsibility for accurate process mapping/process documentation, training and delivery of process improvements and efficiencies within Bill and Pay Ensure the team run as smoothly and efficiently as possible within budgets and staffing levels.
**Credit Control

  • Responsible for the daytoday credit control activities, working within the agreed credit control process to deliver timely cash collection and execution of performance targets & KPI's.
  • Maintaining contact with clients in line with the Amoria Group Credit Control protocol to ensure invoices are clear for payment.
  • Building relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, escalate any disputes immediately that may impact cash collection, working with sales and finance departments to resolve disputes.
  • Carry out credit risk assessments for new and existing customers (identifying potential risks and informing the relevant stakeholders)
  • Working with client procurement departments to obtain purchase orders in a timely manner to enable prompt invoicing and payment.
  • Weekly and monthly debtor reporting to line manager and stakeholders
  • Daily posting of cash to accounts receivable system.
  • Overseeing client account reconciliations
  • Liaising with our Receivable Finance provider in a timely manner to resolve any issues and respond to queries or audit requests.
  • Onboarding of new customers onto the RF as appropriate Preparation of forecast for cash flow purposes, to include future contractor and employee payments and all customer receipts.

Line Management of APAC Bill & Pay Team

  • Manage the performance and output of each team member.
  • Identify skill gaps and opportunities, ensure team members have received the coaching, training and support required to carry out all tasks.
  • Conduct regular and meaningful Quarterly and Annual Appraisals with direct reports.
  • Identify team development in line with business need and build individual career progression paths.
  • Supervise workloads and ensure effective and fair workflow across the team.
  • Support interviews and selection of new staff as appropriate.
  • Support the formal Performance and Disciplinary Management of team members where appropriate.
  • Building a culture of ownership, accountability and open communication within the team
  • Identify areas for improvement, working with Director of Operations to deliver continuous improvements
