Regional Finance Director

You will play a crucial role in spearheading the financial strategy and operations of our organization to facilitate growth throughout the APAC region. Reporting directly to the Regional CEO, you will supervise all facets of financial management, planning, and reporting, while offering strategic direction to ensure the business growth.

Our client is a prominent China food chain business with a global footprint, currently operating a network of over 4,000 stores worldwide. As part of their strategic roadmap, they are actively preparing for an Initial Public Offering (IPO), reflecting their ambitions for expansion and growth.
Having established their presence in APAC since 2019, our client is now poised to embark on an expansion journey within the region. Their goal is to seize new opportunities, enhance their market share, and further solidify their position as a sustainable and key player in the ever-growing APAC market.
Description
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives in the APAC region.
- Collaborate with leadership to set financial goals, targets, and budgets aligned with overall business objectives.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, forecasting, and risk assessment to identify opportunities and mitigate potential challenges.
Franchise Pricing Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive pricing strategy for franchise operations across the APAC region, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, market dynamics, and profitability targets.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand competitive pricing landscape, consumer behavior, and pricing elasticity in different markets.
- Collaborate with franchise partners to establish pricing models and guidelines that optimize revenue generation while maintaining brand integrity and customer value perception.
- Monitor pricing performance and conduct regular reviews to assess effectiveness, identify opportunities for optimization, and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to franchisees in implementing pricing strategies, including training on pricing methodologies, tools, and techniques to maximize profitability and sales.
Capital Management and Investment Analysis:
- Manage capital allocation and investment decisions to maximize return on investment and shareholder value.
- Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships to support growth objectives and enhance market position.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Develop and implement robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency exchange fluctuations, market volatility, and geopolitical factors.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Provide guidance and support to finance staff in executing their responsibilities and achieving departmental goals.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
- Proven track record of success in financial leadership roles within the Food & Beverage or retail industry and across the APAC region.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic financial plans that drive business growth and profitability.
