Asia-Pacific (APAC) region for CooperVision consists of the country markets of Japan, South Korea, Australia & NZ, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia as well as Asia Distributor markets (including Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam).

APAC regional revenues in 2023 will be over USD 500 million, with continuing and exciting growth opportunities.


The
Regional Senior Finance Director APAC (RFD) is a key member of the CooperVision APAC Leadership Team (APLT) and Global Finance Leadership Team (FLT), providing strategic financial guidance, commercial drive, decision-making and support to enhance the growth opportunities of the business.

The role has direct responsibility for regional planning cycles, financial analysis and insight leading extended teams through the territory.

The position retains overall accountability for the Region's financial accounting, taxation, treasury, internal control, and compliance activities, working collaboratively with the Global Controllership Function.


Business partnering is key to the position's success, requiring a high-caliber commercially orientated Finance leader to collaborate with the APLT, country leadership teams and all functions to make informed fact-based decisions on strategic and tactical items.

This same drive for great Business Partnering extends through the APAC Finance Leadership team with the RFD ensuring the ongoing development of the Market Business Controllers and Regional Finance Teams.

The RFD will support a drive to greater global consistency and digitization in the way we deliver appropriate information, metrics and business intelligence needed to challenge and raise the regional performance.


The RFD will be accountable for driving operational efficiencies playing a leadership role in the ongoing implementation and deployment of global systems, including changes to our ERP platforms.

The role has a strong focus on continuous improvement and consistency in processes to raise productivity and improve controls.

The higher business process efficiency and improved service levels support the objective of being the "supplier of choice" to our customers and partners.


The RFD will continue to assess the effectiveness of the Finance function, driving a vision and wider implementation of Shared services to enhance process consistency and controls for the business.
