Job Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Operations Assistant to support the company’s sourcing, procurement, logistics, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing Support:

  • Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers to meet the company’s needs.
  • Conduct market research to source quality products and services at competitive
  • prices.
  • Maintain and update a database of suppliers, products, and market trends.

Procurement Assistance:

  • Prepare and issue purchase orders following company procurement policies.
  • Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm order details and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, invoices, and delivery documents.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Support in organizing and tracking shipments and deliveries.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and manage customs documentation for imports and exports.
  • Support in addressing logistics challenges such as delays, missing items, or transportation issues.

Administrative Support:

  • Perform routine clerical duties, such as filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Manage correspondence and provide administrative support to the team.
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate with vendors for replenishments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work with other departments to align sourcing, procurement, and logistics activities.

Learning and Development:

  • Understudy the Senior Team to gain best practices in administrative and operations management.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings to build your knowledge and skills.

Requirement:

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent; Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus
  • 1 year of relevant experience in administrative, logistics, or clerical roles is preferred
