Regional Sales Director - B2B FinTech
Location: Singapore (Hybrid)
Full-Time Role
We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Director to lead our sales efforts, drive revenue growth, and build strategic relationships in the Southeast Asia market. This leadership role is critical in expanding our client's footprint, managing a high-performing sales team, and delivering results aligned with our client's company’s vision.
As part of a rapidly growing B2B Payments company, you will work with enterprise and mid-market clients to position our solutions as essential to their business success. This role requires a combination of strategic leadership, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to inspire and manage a sales team in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
- Identify and prioritize high-potential markets, industries, and accounts to drive growth.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align sales goals with overall business objectives.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with company culture and values.
- Set clear performance metrics, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Identify and seize new business opportunities, leveraging data-driven insights and market trends.
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across enterprise and mid-market segments.
- Develop tailored solutions to address customer pain points and deliver measurable business value.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis of sales performance metrics.
- Implement best practices and utilize CRM tools to optimize the sales process.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies relevant to the SaaS market.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in B2B FinTech Payments sales, including 3+ years in a leadership role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Deep understanding of the SEA market, including cultural nuances, business practices, and industry dynamics.
- Strong knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger Sales) and experience managing complex sales cycles.
- Proven ability to inspire, manage, and grow high-performing sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success in building long-term relationships with enterprise and mid-market clients.
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to executive-level stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales enablement platforms.
