We pride ourselves on offering not just great drinks, but a memorable experience for every guest. We are currently looking for a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Barista to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a Barista at Cafe Lighthouse, you’ll be the heart of our coffee service, providing excellent coffee and customer service while maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Your main responsibility will be preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, while offering a personalized experience to every customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and teas.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Keep track of inventory and restock supplies as needed.
  • Create a welcoming and friendly environment for customers and fellow team members.
  • Assist with food preparation, such as preparing pastries or light bites, when required.
  • Handle cash and process payments accurately.
  • Stay knowledgeable about menu items, seasonal specials, and coffee beans, and share your expertise with customers.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, including food handling and sanitation procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous barista experience is preferred, but not required.
  • A passion for coffee and a love for customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized.
  • Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and early mornings.
  • A positive attitude and team player mentality.
