NIE invitessuitable candidates to join the Corporate Planning &Development Office (CPDO) as a Senior/Assistant Manager,Corporate Planning and Development (3-yearcontract).
JobDescription
- Liaise with NTUcounterparts, such as the Office of Health and Safety, to implementand coordinate new initiatives and share and distribute informationrelating to workplace health and safety matters within NIE to meetNTU expectations.
- Formulate, implement, andevaluate new and existing health and safety policies and servicesto build a strong safety and health culture within the NIEcommunity and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and NTUexpectations.
- Facilitate Enterprise RiskManagement programme, which includes reviewing & tracking thekey risks identified in the riskregister.
- Support assistant directors in thedepartment in various corporate planning initiatives, such ascrisis/incident management and Enterprise Risk Management,etc.
- Provide administrative/secretariat supportfor activities/committees/meetings by thedepartment.
Requirements
- AUniversity degree.
- At least three years ofrelevant experience in occupational workplace health and safetymanagement, with practical knowledge and experience in implementingsafety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuringcompliance with local regulations.
- Strongexperience in ISO documentation, including ISO 45001, would bepreferred.
- Registered Workplace Safety andHealth Officer (WSHO) would beadvantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft OfficeApplications and strong in Excel.
- Strongwritten and verbal communication skills and an eye fordetail.
- Highly motivated individual who canmulti-task and work independently.
- Ability towork well under pressure with different levels ofpeople.
