Job Summary: 

 

The Talent Acquisition Manager, Team Lead (Technology) is a key member of Singtel’s Talent Acquisition function and a critical team lead in delivering a holistic talent acquisition experience for Singtel’s Information Technology (IT) business unit and group technology functions. This role will be responsible for attracting the best talent to support our technology strategic growth and includes building a strong employer brand, transforming recruiting to a proactive hiring function, and creating talent/candidate pipelines for current and future staffing needs. This role will directly be responsible for 3 technology recruiters whilst providing managerial and coaching direction in the delivery of operational recruiting excellence.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

 

  • Take ownership of end-to-end tech-stack skills-based hiring across Singtel’s technology business units.
  • Drive sustainable talent acquisition strategies and provide high-quality recruitment advisory to line managers for core recruitment and leadership roles.
  • Enhance and deepen sourcing channels and platforms to build candidate pipelines.
  • Lead and drive continuous improvements across recruiting processes, tools, and technology.
  • Team leadership and management. Inspire, lead, and develop a team of 3 technology recruiters to drive efficiencies and to be accountable for achieving hiring targets and KPIs.
  • Partner with the Senior Level Leadership team to understand their business complexities, define the most appropriate way forward to achieve diversity in hiring, and implement sourcing strategies for niche roles across the AI, Cloud, Security, IT Infrastructure, Data Engineering and analytics, Digital Transformation, and Digital Connectivity.
  • To be the trusted talent acquisition business lead where engagement is key. Conduct regular meetings and weekly updates with BU Leads and senior leadership to address any recruitment gaps and improve hiring strategies in their BU.
  • Working with the people and culture leads to identifying current external and internal talent gaps within the organization. Recommend and drive the right sourcing strategies including but not limited to Work Study Programs, Internships, Employee Referral Campaigns, Singtel’s BIG Talent marketplace and Recruitment Marketing campaigns on social media.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Attraction team to drive employer branding and value proposition stories. This includes but is not limited to campus outreach, career fairs, and employee stories to showcase Singtel IT’s Value Proposition.  

Job Requirements: 

 

  • At least 12 years of recruiting experience with at least 5 years in a team lead/managerial capacity.
  • Experienced in Candidate Profiling/Interviewing, Strategic Sourcing, and familiarity with Tools like LinkedIn Talent Solutions & Linked Talent Insights.
  • Familiar with the Singapore Employment Law.
  • Experienced in Stakeholder Management, Influencing techniques, Conflict Management and Team Management & Development.
