Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead in NTU’s Office of Human Resources, the candidate will actively source for suitable candidates via recruitment channels and databases, so as to shorten the recruitment time to fill vacancies. The individual will also be supporting the Talent Acquisition Team in strengthening NTU’s employer brand through recruitment events.

Responsibilities:

  • Screen and shortlist resumes submitted via various career portals, conduct phone screening and surface potential candidates who meet the job requirements to hiring managers
  • Pro-actively source and reach out to potential candidates to engage them on career opportunities with NTU
  • Support the Talent Acquisition & Talent Management team in the planning and coordinating in campus recruitment events such as recruitment fairs/ career talks to maintain a strong employer brand presence
  • Identify opportunities and drive improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment workflows and processes

Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in a recruitment or HR Generalist role
  • A good understanding of Singapore’s talent market and have prior experience in conducting proactive searches for potential candidates through market-mapping & databases etc
  • Candidates with prior experience in Human Resource Function in education industry will have an added advantage
  • Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal and influencing skills and possess the ability to engage candidates of all levels of seniority
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
