OUR STORY

Keef the Beef is one of Singapore's home grown restaurant for quality steak dinners. Founded by Keith and his wife Jeanne during the COVID pandemic lockdown, it began as a passion project in their kitchen before moving to a modest outlet in a residential neighbourhood and eventually expanding into a full-fledged restaurant serving a range steak. From USDA, Australian, New Zealand and Argentinian steak cuts.Keef the Beef’s signature dish "The PL" was inspired by the legendary Peter Luger-style butter broiled steak cooked at high temperature. The occurring maillard reaction* sweetens the steak and creates the multi-dimensional flavour.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the supervisors and staff during restaurant shift operations
  • Training of new join staff
  • Ensure prompt and polite dining experience of guests at all times
  • Respond to guests' enquiries and coordinate with supervisors for guests’ feedbacks
  • Cultivate and maintain a healthy restaurant environment
  • Check all side stations before Lunch / Dinner operations
  • Ensure tablecloths and napkins are ready for daily operations
  • Make sure that all table settings are set in a proper and correct manner
  • Ensure that restaurant premises are clean
  • Check all toilets before operations and inform the supervisor on duty if it is not up to standard
  • Make sure all food & beverages are checked before serving it to the designated table
  • Wipe all glasses, cutlery and plates dry before the end of the day
  • Fulfill any ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors / managers

Requirements:

  • With 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar setting 
  • Service oriented
  • Skilled in suggestive selling and upselling techniques
  • Familiarity with wine and liquor is a plus
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
  • Good team-player
