Biopharmaceutical Account Manager/Executive - Bone in Singapore. Amgen is one of the world’s leading independent biotechnology companies. What You Will DoReporting to the Sales Manager, you will maximize sales of Amgen products in the territory, achieve sales targets, and collaborate with the team to implement the plan of action POA in line with the marketing strategy. You will identify and establish high quality customer relationships and internal collaboration. You must possess in depth knowledge of the product, market, stakeholders and competition.
- Collaborates with manager to develop and implement territory POA and key account plans. Achieve POA.
- Evaluates progress vs. plan monthly and agrees to course corrections with manager.
- Contributes to Cluster/Territory Teams and collaborates (Medical Affairs/Key Account Manager, etc.) to agree on key account plan objectives and responsibilities.
- Engages with peers and manager to learn best practices.
- Demonstrates an understanding of industry and healthcare trends and of how retail practices, clinics and hospitals operate.
- Identifies and gathers competitive information.
- Follows through on customer commitments and requests in a timely fashion.
- Reports customer activity in the CRM system and ensures customer profiles are kept up to date.
- Demonstrates an understanding of Amgen Performance 4 selling platform to satisfy customer and Amgen needs.
- Operates within the agreed expense budget aligned with POA priorities.
- Seeks advice and assistance to organize activities.
- Continuously develops and improves product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs. Drives own development.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in orthopaedic, endocrinology and general medicine
- Knowledge of and experience in a hospital environment
- Basic exposure to marketing projects will be an advantage
- Some experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)
- Fluency in local language, both oral and written communication
- Relevant local legal qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management principles
- Exposure to interactions with various disciplines and organizational levels
- Exposure to project management principles
