My client is an innovative and rapidly scaling Generic AI Agent. Backed by top-tier investors and driven by a mission to shape the future of digital innovation, we are building a diverse and global team to power our next phase of growth.

As we expand our operations across Asia and globally, we are looking for a forward-thinking and strategic Head of Talent Acquisition / HR Director to lead and evolve our people strategy.

Position Overview

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building and scaling our global HR and talent function. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in tech-focused talent acquisition and HR strategy, with proven success in fast-paced, high-growth environments spanning AI, Web3, blockchain, fintech, or adjacent industries.

Fluency in Mandarin is essential to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders across Greater China, Singapore, and broader APAC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies to hire top-tier talent across engineering, product, research, operations, and executive roles.
  • Lead recruitment efforts for highly specialized and competitive roles in AI, blockchain, fintech, and tech infrastructure.
  • Establish and manage talent pipelines, succession plans, and talent forecasting aligned with business needs.
  • Strengthen the employer brand through strategic branding, partnerships, and community engagement within the tech and innovation ecosystems.
  • Partner with the executive team to design and scale HR systems, structures, and policies that support rapid business growth.
  • Lead performance management, compensation and benefits strategy, organizational development, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Ensure compliance with labour regulations and employment laws across multiple jurisdictions, especially in Singapore, China, and key APAC regions.
  • Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture grounded in innovation, collaboration, and agility.
  • Lead programs that enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention across diverse teams.
  • Navigate cross-cultural dynamics and strengthen organizational alignment across regional offices.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in HR leadership, with at least 3 years in a senior HR or Talent role in tech, AI, Web3, blockchain, or fintech companies.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling global teams across fast-growth, high-demand environments.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, with the ability to work across cross-border teams, particularly in Greater China and Southeast Asia.
  • Strong understanding of the competitive global talent landscape in emerging tech.
  • Deep expertise in building scalable HR infrastructure and systems from the ground up.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MA in HRM) is a plus.
  • High emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, and excellent stakeholder management.
