Regional Director of Food, Hospitality and Workplace Experiences is a pivotal role responsible for leading and implementing the strategic vision of workplace experiences across our Strategic account client portfolio. This role combines expertise in food services, hospitality and CSR to implement strategies, support retention and grow the business across both regional and global accounts.
Responsibilities- Support the COO to set the regional strategic direction for food services, hospitality and workplace experiences for GSA. This role will lead the development of the Food, hospitality and workplace experience strategy within the targeted sub-sectors and strategic international clients. This includes developing and implementing standards and initiatives that enhance service quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute the workplace experience strategy to grow existing business via strategic account management, relationship building and a multiyear roadmap covering development of capabilities.
- Develop go-to-market sustainable workplace experience offerings for GSA covering 3 pillars of work: 1) Food only, 2) Food and workplace experience.
- Be an agent for execution excellence by working alongside country and regional teams to retain and grow business.
- Intelligence and insight gathering to support M&A/ partnerships recommendations.
- Be an ambassador for GSA across the organization and drive the engagement with regional and country businesses in positioning our needs to implement our offers locally.
- Stay ahead of trends and innovations in workplace experience, food services, hospitality, and CSR. Introduce best practices to continually enhance the services offered to clients.
- Partner with key Sodexo stakeholders such as zone, regional and country leadership, service platform and growth and commercial to drive evolution in key brands and offerings that best position growth and development within our target sub-sectors and clients.
- Engage and develop with key strategic clients. Lead and facilitate sessions to ensure appropriate food, health and performance and/or workplace experience strategy. Develop objectives and key results collaboratively with GSA clients to best suit their users and business functions.
- Ensure appropriate governance is in place including strategic account reviews and client business reviews.
- Partner with GSA Account Directors in our selected priority existing clients to drive service and product excellence across key workplace experience offerings.
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and roadmaps relevant to workplace experience across target sub-sectors and clients, covering food sustainability, health and performance sustainability, and workplace experience sustainability.
- Develop wellbeing and health and performance offerings to ensure clients feel confident Sodexo can ensure employee productivity and engagement within their workplace.
- Animate the GSA CSR community, ensuring common alignment and sharing of best practices across accounts.
- Member of the key GSA Leadership team. Support the COO in team cohesion, setting a compelling vision for change, performance and execution, and team-based problem solving.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record in developing and implementing workplace experience strategies.
- Deep understanding of food service management, hospitality, and CSR principles.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and mobilize teams towards a common vision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a creative mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, employees, and partners.
