You will represent MPL in Singapore, focusing on what matters most: driving sales in general cargo and winning new business. You know how to spot opportunities, open doors, and build strong relationships – especially within general cargo.

With all shipments and execution handled centrally by our operational team, you can fully concentrate on customer acquisition and care in Singapore. You'll develop and implement effective sales strategies, identify and pursue promising leads, and deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs. Negotiating contracts, preparing compelling proposals, and staying ahead of market trends will all be part of your daily rhythm.

Your entrepreneurial spirit, strong market feel, and energy will be key to expanding our client base and strengthening our presence in Singapore. You won't just focus on today – you'll look ahead, think big, and create a lasting impact.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive general cargo sales in Singapore.
  • Identify and pursue promising leads, open doors, and build strong client relationships.
  • Concentrate on customer acquisition and care, with all shipments and execution handled centrally by the MPL operational team.
  • Negotiate contracts and prepare compelling proposals.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate to expand MPL's client base and strengthen presence in Singapore.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record (5+ years) in sales and business development in logistics or supply chain with a focus on General Cargo.
  • Strong knowledge of the Singapore market and needs of general cargo customers.
  • Hunting mindset: spotting leads, creating connections, and closing deals.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, logistics or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills, commercial drive, and high ownership.
  • Based in Singapore.
  • Energetic and capable of driving results consistently.
