Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities and propose potential deals by contacting target accounts and decision makers; analyze market strategies and deal requirements to evaluate options.
  • Work closely with local, regional, and global teams to close new business deals with persuasive approaches and pitches; establish long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers across key accounts.
  • Establish, cultivate, and maintain key relationships with end customers, influencers, and contractors, in conjunction with distribution partners and direct engagement.
  • Uncover and build opportunity pipelines with Sales and end customers; advance through the sales stages to deal closure and maintain accurate data in the CRM and sales/project management system.
  • Establish budgetary forecasts and sales volume targets for the SEA/DC market.
  • Collaborate with Sales to determine the involvement of distribution to ensure closing opportunities; provide project guidance for price and quotation strategy to the distribution network.
  • Identify and support the qualification of strategic alliances to expand PS solution, products, and services; leverage business networking to enter additional markets.
  • Provide frontline Data Center marketing and technical support to distribution partners and dealers as needed.
  • Analyze sales and market data to provide information to senior management for decision making.
  • Promote PS in trade events and associations; work with Marketing and Engineering to create and present technical papers and white papers for marketing collateral, trade journals, and conferences.
  • Be the expert in Data Center power products and solutions, industry standards, and on-site power system design and integration.
Travel

This position requires travel up to 50%.

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant sales experience in the power generation business.
  • Solid proven direct and channel sales track record; able to present and negotiate with senior executives and decision makers.
  • Results driven, strong will to compete and win in a business environment.
  • Good team player; enjoys interacting with people at all levels.
  • Able to travel frequently and work independently.
Critical Technical, Professional And Personal Capabilities/Skills
  • Experience in Data Center segment is critical; strong technical knowledge of power generation products and solutions; knowledge of industry standards and requirements.
  • Strong people and communication skills; able to motivate others and stay customer focused.
  • Strong drive to succeed; energetic and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent team player; able to lead or participate in cross-functional teams; open to feedback.
