As a Regulatory Technology team member at Nasdaq Technology in Mumbai, India, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring Nasdaq trading engines operate in compliance with rulebooks and surveillance programs are optimally designed. Your role is crucial in maintaining the regulatory integrity of global Nasdaq markets. You will collaborate with experienced team members across various departments to deliver enhancements and support software used for regulatory compliance of trading platforms and surveillance applications.Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and troubleshooting application software for Regulatory Technology projects, parsing rulebook language, participating in technical design reviews, conducting testing, and identifying issues for resolution. You will work closely with colleagues in Mumbai and other countries to drive critical technology solutions.We are seeking candidates with at least 7+ years of experience in software development, compliance testing, and data analytics, along with strong critical and analytical thinking skills. Proficiency in Java, databases, writing skills, and code versioning tools like GitLab is required. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, engineering, computer science, math, or statistics is preferred.Additionally, knowledge of trading and market structures, surveillance patterns, algorithms, SQL, Python, and regulatory rule drafting and interpretation is beneficial.
