Assist development, implementation and evaluation of the S4K Tamil curriculum. Provide in-house teacher training both local and overseas (upon request) Plan S4K Tamil curriculum based on the latest MOE’s guidelines, international best practices and S4K’s USP. Develop, enhance and write Tamil curriculum content writing for all levels, i.e. Pre-Nursery, Nursery, K1 & K2. Writes Tamil lesson plans and plans supporting resources for the implementation of the virtual modality platform. Upgrade and fine-tune curriculum upon feedback. Assist in the development and production of Tamil curriculum materials, including content and artwork. Assist in planning, developing and updating Tamil curriculum manuals periodically. Develop, enhance and write English core curriculum for assigned level(s). Support research and ad hoc projects when applicable. 2 Training and Operational Support Conduct in-house teacher training both locally and overseas. Develop in-house bite-sized training videos on our teachers’ e-learning platform. Assist in quarterly-yearly reports on the evaluation of programme implementation. Visit centres periodically and provide reports on curriculum implementation. Provide recommendations on improvement in teaching, resources and setting up learning corners. 3 SPARK Accreditation Complement Support Provide complementary support to direct centres in preparation for SPARK accreditation. Work with appointed coordinators in the centres to identify centres’ needs in fulfilling professional requirements for SPARK accreditation. B CHALLENGES AHEAD Ensure staff are well trained in delivering the Tamil curriculum to the children. Setting up centres within the allocated time. C TARGET Produce the termly curriculum materials a month before the centre setup or execution.
