Role and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work under the Regional Enterprise Architecture Department. He/She is responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and governance of AI and GenAI solutions. He/She will formulate the Organization’s AI/GenAI management, AI policies, and standards to support the short-term and long-term strategic plan, investment, and enterprise architecture roadmap. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with best practices, and driving the adoption of AI technologies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for AI and GenAI initiatives.
  • Establish governance frameworks and policies to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to governance policies.
  • Engage with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and promote the benefits of AI technologies.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments.
  • Identify and promote innovative use cases for AI and GenAI.
  • Support the development of custom AI applications, models, and solutions.
  • Lead and develop chatbot (ChatGPT) and automation business flows using Microsoft technologies (MS OpenAI, AI Search, Power Platform, etc.).
  • Evaluate Large Language Models from key market players and drive prototyping to enable digital transformation.
  • Advise on a broad range of technologies related to AI, including security and risk considerations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to upskill employees on AI and GenAI tools; provide ongoing support and resources.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for AI solutions.
Qualifications and Technical Skills
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in IT, with banking industry experience.
  • Minimum 8 years applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions.
  • Professional certifications in Azure, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science.
  • Bachelor’s degree related to Artificial Intelligence or Data Science.
  • In-depth knowledge of AI/GenAI technologies (ML, DL, NLP, generative models).
  • Proficiency with AI development frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Strong understanding of Azure Cloud, MS OpenAI, AI Search, Form Recognizer, ADLS, Cosmos DB.
  • Experience with LLMs (GPT, Llama, Claude, etc.) and agentic AI concepts.
  • Experience defining MLOps and DataOps; REST API development; familiarity with Django, Express.js, Spring Boot.
  • Experience with modern data platforms, NoSQL/RDBMS design and optimization; data transformation/integration, BI, analytics, and tools like Talend, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities; experience managing AI products and roadmaps; ability to align AI solutions with business goals.
  • Knowledge of AI governance frameworks and risk assessment for deployments.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and training; ability to create knowledge-sharing culture.
