The Role

Steer the ship for Headout in South East Asia. As the General Manager, you hold the compass, navigating the vast terrain of strategy, partnerships, sales, and more. Be the face of our business in the region, orchestrating a grand symphony with a team of 6-8, aiming to elevate our business to unprecedented heights in the next 24 months. This role requires someone who is strategic, moves fast, detail-oriented, and is a proven team leader. The stakes are high, and the buck stops with you.   • High-Impact Role. As the General Manager (South East Asia), you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's strategy. It gives you the unique opportunity to have your fingerprints all over Headout. Craft a plan to enhance productivity and streamline operations.   • Innovate & Experiment. With the opportunity to work with business leads, marketers and supply partners providing opportunities for collaboration and the building of strong relationships, the role involves finding new and creative ways to engage and connect with audiences, globally.
  • Local and Global Impact: Balance local insights with Headout's global vision. You'll have the unique opportunity to influence Headout's global strategy with your local expertise, ensuring that our offerings in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and other smaller markets are both globally aligned and locally revered.
  • Partnership and Growth: Forge lasting relationships with local suppliers and partners. Your ability to identify and nurture key partnerships existing and new will be crucial in offering an unrivaled selection of experiences to our customers.
️ What Skills & Experience Do You Need?
  • You're A Striker . 6-8 years in high-performance roles, be it in tech, strategy, or related fields, you're very goal-oriented. You're analytical enough to balance data and intuition, and you'll navigate ups and downs in performance of the team to meet your targets without compromising on quality.
  • You're a Strategist . Your role is pivotal. Every action, strategy, and decision you make will contribute significantly to Headout's footprint in South East Asia. You'll be in the driver's seat, steering the P&L. Your responsibilities will span from overarching strategies to intricate operational specifics. This includes pioneering new city launches by identifying, reaching out to, and onboarding new Supply Partners and forming distribution partnerships.
  • You're a Leader . With over 5 years of experience leading teams and shaping leaders, you know the art of motivation and trust-building. You find thrill in rapid change and navigate ambiguity with agility. Tenacity is your middle name. No challenge is too big; no task is too small.
  • You're an Innovator. You challenge norms, seeking fresh, innovative solutions. Whether it's a bird's eye view or a granular look, you navigate both realms with ease.
  • You're Data-Driven . Leading outcomes and metrics, you've showcased success in dynamic environments. Your decisions echo the rhythm of data. SQL and Excel are your allies in informed decision-making.
