Sales Director, South-East Asia

You will be responsible for providing overall direction, sales strategy, and team management to meet and exceed profitable sales targets for the AV/IT market in South-East Asia region. You will work closely with the Vice President of Sales for APAC to implement sales strategies to increase sales and our brand position within the markets we serve. You will work closely with your sales team to analyze sales activities against goals and ensure sales goals are met and/or exceeded.

Your tasks

Develops and executes strategic plans to achieve sales revenue to meet and/or exceed assigned targets.Monitor performance metrics and key performance indicators for the Team in South-East Asia region.

Provides leadership and coaching to the sales team with organizational skills, account strategies/planning, territory planning, and administrative responsibilities to ensure achievement of sales revenue targets and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Establishes and ensure effective/clear communication/coordination between the team to maintain a common, corporate message and share best practices.

Ensures Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) usage and sales processes are being followed.

Builds strong relationships with principals, designers, and other influencers and end customers.

Assists Sales VP with developing and maintaining high-level relationships with channel strategic important Business Unit contacts in the region and key account principals

Stays current with competitive activity and organize sales response to market changes.

Works closely with our HQ to anticipate product inventories to meet customer sales requirements.

Develops new business opportunities including new points of distribution and new applications for existing products.

Provides market feedback on trends, opportunities, competitive products and sales developments in the form of monthly reports.

Provides accurate forecasts of projected sales and growth covering weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly numbers.

Fosters an environment and culture that drives outstanding customer service with flawless execution.

Your profile

Degree in IT/Business Management or relevant disciplines. 2 to 3 years relevant experience and proven track records as a Regional Sales Director or similar role in the IT/AV industry/products. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a sales team. Able to establish and build relationships with system integrators and distributors. Strong analytical, negotiation and influencing skills. Possess good presentation skill and deliver ideas in simple and concise format. In-depth understanding of sales channels, market dynamics, trends etc. Good business acumen, able to identify and pursue growth opportunities. Ability to build business cases including financial impact, forecast and budget. Result-driven. Availability to travel as needed Understanding of individual needs and ability to manage conflict Motivational skills and high level of self- motivation Power of endurance and problem solving attitude Ability to convince & energize people, strong collaborator Market, business and industry understanding Team player & Excellent communication skill Positive attitude Ability to analyze and solve complex tasks under consideration of opposite interests in an efficient manner
