What the role is: You will lead a team of data analysts, data scientists, statisticians, and economists in applying artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), operations research, systems modeling, geospatial analytics, forecasting, econometrics, visualization, and primary research to support MOH’s priorities in policy formulation, review, service planning, and operations. The role requires managing multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. What you will be working on: You will: Lead a team to communicate timely and actionable insights through appropriate channels to facilitate policy makers in achieving desired outcomes. Implement and refine the Programme Evaluation Framework, elevate Programme Evaluation standards across MOH, and evaluate health programmes. Scope, coordinate, and deliver analytics projects for MOH Divisions. What we are looking for: Preferably over 12 years of experience, including at least 6 years in a leadership role within Health Analytics or Data Analytics in the health or public sector. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics/Biostatistics/Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or related fields. Proficiency in data analysis tools like Stata, R, or Python, with experience solving real-world problems. Ability to understand broad strategic perspectives while addressing detailed business needs. Strong stakeholder and change management skills. Organized, structured, meticulous, with excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
