Overview Vantage Data Centers powers, cools, protects and connects the technology of the world’s well-known hyperscalers, cloud providers and large enterprises. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for the direction, leadership, and account management of all sales, business development operations, and the marketing of new site opportunities in APAC, which includes: Day to day point of contact with key customer(s). Manage the Sales process from Site Selection through Construction delivery. Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Site Selection, New Site Development, Sales Solutions Engineering, Design Engineering, Construction and Operations. Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams to maximize value through pricing, deal structure and business case. Gather and share intelligence to steer and drive Vantage’s Site Selection activities. In the Sales capacity, accountable for: Named strategic account(s). Lead/sponsor on RFPs and Build-to-Suit opportunities in partnership with the Solutions Engineering team. Generate additional business through market intelligence and information gathering. Drive the company’s achievement of customer acquisition and revenue goals. Challenge and guide Vantage teams to deliver best outcomes for the customer while ensuring best value for Vantage. Establish strong relationships with customer Leasing teams. Coordinate sales activities across teams to resolve customer issues and drive improvement for the customer. Represent the company at industry, community and/or business meetings to promote the company. Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs. Collaborate with the executive team and leadership to develop five-year and ten-year business plans. Act as a role model of the Vantage Way and Vantage Company Values. Other duties as assigned. Additional Job Description Solutions driven attitude. In-depth knowledge of the data center or related sector with a firm understanding of development, engineering, delivery, or sales. Degree and postgraduate qualifications desirable, or equivalent international experience. Highly motivated, self-starter with demonstrable experience coaching and developing high-performing teams. Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and gain support from cross-functional and geographically diverse stakeholders. Outstanding negotiation management and influencing skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong IT skills with ability to use multiple communication tools and packages. Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical/operational. Creative thinker with demonstrated ability to champion innovation and continuous improvement. Ability to analyze complex business problems and simplify for the customer and internal stakeholders. Flexible, adaptable and self-directed; able to work remotely, while traveling, across multiple time zones, cross-functionally, by project, etc. Organized, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure, and prioritize with minimal supervision.
