Account Director, Strategics role at OpenAI . This opportunity focuses on leading strategic accounts and driving adoption of OpenAI's AI products across enterprise clients.

About The Team

OpenAI's mission is to build safe artificial general intelligence (AGI) which benefits all of humanity. The Go To Market (GTM) team helps customers learn how to leverage and deploy our AI products. The team includes Sales, Solutions, Support, Marketing, and Partnership professionals who create solutions that bring AI to users at scale.

In This Role, You'll
  • Manage a small number of key accounts and develop/execute comprehensive account plans
  • Lead enterprise prospects' journeys from consideration to deployment
  • Collaborate with solutions and research engineering to build and execute complex customer programs
  • Own and forecast consumption revenue targets
  • Analyze key account metrics and provide insights to stakeholders
  • Monitor industry landscape to inform product roadmaps and corporate strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including solutions, marketing, operations, finance, product, and engineering
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of teammates and contribute to company culture
We're Seeking Someone With Experience Including
  • 14+ years selling platform-as-a-service and/or software-as-a-service
  • Consistent achievement of revenue targets >$2M per year for 3+ years
  • Designing/executing complex deal strategies
  • Experience supporting rapid-growth companies
  • Direct work with C-level executives
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Leading high-visibility customer events (CABs, conferences, product launches, etc.)
  • Gathering and processing market intelligence (industry, competitors, customers) to inform strategy
