IAM Admin Lead Engineer

• As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist, you will be responsible for administering user accounts and access privileges in the organization's identity management system. You will actively participate in IAM projects and initiatives, collaborating with internal customers, business analysts, and application teams to understand access requirements. Your role will involve maintaining documentation for the IAM program and participating in audits to review access control reports, identifying potential risks.You will play a crucial role in providing training to new users on the IAM system and managing user accounts and permissions. This includes granting or denying access to company resources based on user role and privileges, as well as creating and managing user groups within the identity and access management system. Enforcing company policies and procedures related to identity and access management will also be part of your responsibilities.Monitoring user activity in the IAM system, reporting on system activity, and addressing any identified issues will be essential tasks. You will work closely with the IAM team to resolve problems and stay updated on best practices in identity and access management. Your expertise in operating systems like Linux, Windows, directory services such as LDAP and Active Directory, security protocols like SSH and TLS, and IAM tools like Okta and Ping Identity will be valuable.You will be expected to provide clear and concise reports to upper management on the status of IAM within the organization, articulate the company's IAM strategy, and develop metrics and KPIs to track progress. Your ability to recommend IAM solutions that align with the company's needs, troubleshoot IAM issues, and deliver training to both technical and non-technical staff will be crucial. Staying informed about IAM trends and best practices, along with your strong understanding of security concepts as they relate to IAM, will be key to your success in this role.,
