Job Title: IAM Admin Lead Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IAM specialist to lead our Identity and Access Management program. As an IAM admin lead engineer, you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing, and maintaining our identity management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer user accounts and access privileges within the organization's identity management system.
  • Participate in IAM projects and initiatives, collaborating with internal customers, business analysts, and application teams to understand access requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for the IAM program and participate in audits to review access control reports, identifying potential risks.
  • Provide training to new users on the IAM system and manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Grant or deny access to company resources based on user role and privileges, as well as create and manage user groups within the identity and access management system.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures related to identity and access management.
  • Monitor user activity in the IAM system, report on system activity, and address any identified issues.
  • Work closely with the IAM team to resolve problems and stay updated on best practices in identity and access management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in operating systems like Linux and Windows.
  • DIRECTORY SERVICES such as LDAP and Active Directory.
  • Security protocols like SSH and TLS.
  • IAM tools like Okta and Ping Identity.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts as they relate to IAM.
  • Ability to recommend IAM solutions that align with the company's needs, troubleshoot IAM issues, and deliver training to both technical and non-technical staff.
