Identity Management Specialist Job

The role of Identity Management Specialist is to lead the development and enhancement of IAM infrastructure, including Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Identity Management Systems, and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in deploying, administering, and supporting complex IAM systems, especially in PKI, CA, Identity Management, SSO, and Microsoft Active Directory.

This specialist must possess strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Passion for IAM and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. Additionally, ability to work independently and take initiative in resolving engineering challenges is crucial.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and improving the IAM infrastructure.
  • Acting as the technical lead and SME for PKI, CA, and identity governance technologies.
  • Managing vendors supporting the IAM systems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Reviewing and upgrading IAM solutions to meet evolving business and security needs.
  • Identifying opportunities for operational improvements and process streamlining.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in deploying, administering, and supporting complex IAM systems, especially in PKI, CA, Identity Management, SSO, and Microsoft Active Directory is necessary.

Familiarity with industry best practices for IAM implementation and support, understanding of identity governance and IT audit requirements, and knowledge of encryption, hashing algorithms, and cryptography are preferred. Certifications such as CISSP are also beneficial.
