This is a key role responsible for Engineering Operations in Singapore, driving JLL's Critical Environment Management (CEM) best practices across accounts. The role involves technical service delivery, client alignment, vendor management, risk and compliance, aiming for 100% uptime by implementing best practices in critical environments.

  • Protect staff and others' health and safety by developing and adhering to guidelines and strategies.
  • Support the account business with SME skills in critical environments like data centers and trading floors.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in CEM processes and support operations in their implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with fire, health, and safety regulations, and participate in audit and community initiatives.
  • Implement EO deliverables during new site transitions in partnership with the transition team.
  • Maintain updated CEM portfolio information and demonstrate client engagement.
  • Support solution development to convert sales opportunities into successful accounts.
  • Drive innovation and new technology to optimize facilities operations.
  • Conduct training and deliver lectures to site teams and engineers.
  • Ensure proper engineering documentation and change management controls.
  • Conduct audits to ensure safety procedures, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place.
  • Adhere to JLL's business conduct guidelines.

The role also involves developing new engineering products and services responsive to market needs to achieve business success in engineering services.

To qualify, you need to be:

  • Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience in engineering and operations leadership within integrated facilities management.
  • Experience in data center operations and maintenance preferred.
  • Skilled in consultancy, report generation, and client presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
  • Proficient in building management systems, HVAC, safety systems, CMMS, and Microsoft Office tools.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Implementing JLL's engineering and operations platform with regional and market teams.
  • Providing strategic leadership, developing long-term plans, and ensuring delivery of operational and safety standards.
  • Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Supporting financial planning and regulatory compliance.
