Overview Direct message the job poster from United Pickleball Association (UPA) Asia Role Growing Pickleball in Asia | Leadership Management, Commercial Planning REPORTS TO: Head of Strategy THE ROLE UPA Asia (UPAA) is looking for ambitious and motivated teammates to be pioneers in driving the growth of Pickleball in Asia. The Partnerships Experience Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day activation and fulfillment of sponsorship deals. This role works with internal departments and external brand partners to ensure contractual deliverables are met, driving ROI and strengthening partner relationships. You are highly organized, solution-oriented, and motivated to create impactful brand integrations. The ideal candidate has experience in servicing brands in Asia, with an understanding of the evolving pickleball landscape. Responsibilities 1. Manage sponsorships: Serve as the primary point of contact for partners; Manage end-to-end execution of sponsorships, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all contractual assets and obligations; Support partners on-site during events and activations; Ensure all activations are aligned with brand standards, legal requirements, and partner expectations. 2. Data & Strategic Insights: Track and report on sponsorship performance; Identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships through upsells, value-added initiatives and unique activations; Provide insights to contribute to UPA Asia’s commercial growth strategies; Monitor trends in the pickleball and sponsorship landscape to shape future activation strategy. 3. Be a team player: Work closely with sponsorship sales team; Collaborate with other internal teams such as events, operations, marketing and media; Have a solution-oriented mindset and can-do spirit. Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in sponsorship, marketing or business development. Good understanding of branding and commercial processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with a client-first mindset. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, partners, and deadlines in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; multilingual ability (Mandarin, Vietnamese, or other Asian languages) is a strong advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Knowledge of pickleball is a plus. Additional Requirements Willingness to travel across Asia for events event execution and partner support. Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, during key events.
