Overview What the role is: As a Manager/ Senior Manager, Strategic Manpower Planning in the HR Strategic & Leadership Division, you will play a key role in leveraging workforce data to inform and influence the Ministry’s workforce plans and manpower resourcing policies for the different employee groups. What you will be working on Conduct data exploration and analysis on longitudinal workforce data to identify manpower trends, and inform HR policy formulation and implementation Communicate complex data insights through clear and compelling narratives and impactful visuals to influence key decision-makers Integrate data from various sources to create comprehensive datasets for in-depth analysis and reporting Design and script interactive dashboards and visualisations for data exploration and monitoring of key workforce trends, enabling automated updates and supporting timely organisational interventions Model workforce data to inform career development and talent management strategies such as projecting distribution of talent to ensure sufficiency in leadership pipeline What we are looking for Experience in exploratory data analysis (EDA), statistical and data integration techniques, with the ability to scope and execute data projects based on business objectives Good data storytelling and communication skills Proficient in data visualisation tools, particularly R and Tableau Background in a quantitative discipline (such as Economics and Statistics) and familiarity with HR concepts would be an advantage In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the close of the application window.
