Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Lab Technician to support our clinical trial operations. This role focuses on handling instruments, preparing testing materials, and working with service, engineering and project teams to implement the strategy.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment.
  • Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications.
  • Perform calibration as per customers’ requirements and in-house calibration procedures.
  • Conduct proper maintenance of reference standards and equipment in the lab.
  • Carry out the engineering maintenance programs on M&E services and non-clinical equipment.
  • Supervise the preventive maintenance works and breakdown repairs as required.
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance, calibration, and testing of various instrumentations, gas metering equipment, and related systems.
  • Perform mechanical overhauling, reconditioning & repairs of engine parts conveyed to shop (where applicable).
  • Respond to and attend to repair requests; diagnose electrical and mechanical faults when required.
  • Assist in the preparation of reagents, calibration materials, and quality control products according to SOPs.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of systems and equipment relevant to the role.
  • Maintain tools and test equipment and ensure they are properly calibrated.
Qualifications
  • Minimum NTC / ITC / NITEC in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
  • Understand safety, electrical and environmental regulations.
