The SES Product Portfolio provides automated threat detection for weapons, narcotics, explosives, contraband, and undeclared goods, as well as nuclear and radioactive materials, leveraging industry-leading screening technologies, AI/ML capabilities, and advanced biometric tools. We have more than 24,000 products deployed across 120 countries, including best-in-class security checkpoint and inspection systems for:

  • People
  • Carry-on and checked baggage
  • Cargo containers and trucks
  • Passenger vehicles
  • Rail cars

Responsibilities include:

  1. Responding to all equipment faults onsite within 10 minutes of notification
  2. Updating the Assistant Team Leader / Team Leader for major faults per SOP
  3. Conducting preventive maintenance as per checklist and schedule
  4. Troubleshooting and correcting minor equipment faults
  5. Complying with CAG and Leidos WSH regulations
  6. Reporting unsafe acts/environment immediately
  7. Providing completed service reports
  8. Conducting tools checks and attending toolbox meetings
  9. Maintaining documentation such as maintenance records and test reports
  10. Performing daily admin tasks, updating logs and databases
  11. Updating service records and spare part exchange forms
  12. Assisting logistics on inventory matters
  13. Undertaking ad hoc tasks as requested
  14. Possibly serving as a driver with a valid Class 3 license
  15. Performing 12-hour rotating shift standby at Changi

Essential knowledge and skills include:

  • NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to use schematics for troubleshooting (advantageous)
  • Good understanding of computers, OS, and networks (plus)
  • Team player with task prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Entry level candidates are welcome
  • Class 3 driving license (not Class 3A) is an advantage
  • Willingness to work in hot, humid environments as needed
