Under the general direction of the Regional Sales Manager, the role focuses on generating and protecting revenue and profit margin in assigned accounts and serving as the technical interface between customers and company engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams. The position cultivates potential technical specifications, pricing considerations and contract requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect for and identify new opportunities for profitable product solutions within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline as defined by sales leadership, driving continuous improvement in pipeline velocity.
  • Actively engage appropriate SAM/KAMs to ensure local strategic alignment to the global vision at local, critical Strategic and Key Account locations.
  • Maintain a disciplined approach and cadence to proactive engagement with all assigned accounts.
  • Serve as liaison between the customer and the company regarding specifications, drawing interpretations, production schedules, quality control demands, packaging requirements, etc.
  • Fully utilize SFDC for customer information, contacts, opportunity management, competitor performance, and overall landscape.
  • Ensure process adherence across aspects of the sales process and related business processes.
  • Actively manage customer expectations and take action to ensure customer satisfaction, leading to enhanced business relationships and loyalty.
Required Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience

Skills And Experience

  • Minimum of 4-6 years direct sales experience, preferably in a B2B, consultative technical sales environment.
  • Ability to understand the technical applications of Greene Tweed products and represent GT positively.
  • Experience in sales territory development and execution.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse, multi-functional team and collaborate to meet business goals.
  • Ability to make decisions aligned with business vision.
  • Professional and assertive work style with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time (domestic and international), including a valid driver’s license.
