LQA Game Tester

Overview
TransPerfect Games is looking for gamers and freelance testers with native Traditional Chinese language skills to join us and provide client support on challenging test problems in a dynamic environment. You will be testing the next big hit game from indie developers to AAA titles.
Responsibilities- Execute linguistic test plans and test cases, and suggest improvements
- Identify, isolate and document linguistic issues and verify fixes
- Use test tools and automation as required
- Apply knowledge of user preferences in the Target Market to influence the client’s product
- Collaborate with partner teams in testing the product
- Proactively look for gaps in test coverage
- Perform basic configuration and setup tasks on PC, game consoles or mobile phones
- Offer constructive feedback on gameplay, fun factor, and game balance based on knowledge of the target market
- Native level in Traditional Chinese
- Passion for games/testing/technology
- Prior experience in playing games in Traditional Chinese and English
- Familiar with Traditional Chinese and English gaming lingo and terminologies
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Drive, positive attitude, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative and creative environment
- Willing to work onsite in Singapore, Tokyo, or Warsaw with core business hours
- Game testing experience
- Experience with security testing/fuzzing tools
- Experience with performance/stress testing tools and methodologies
- Experience with accessibility testing
- Experience with certification testing and/or lot checks
- Experience with testing tools like Fiddler, Netmon, etc.
- Experience with bug tracking systems like ADO, JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
- Experience shipping software products or certifications in games testing, design, or engineering
- Location: onsite in Singapore, Tokyo, or Warsaw
