As a key member of the HR team, you will play an essential role in supporting the HR Business Partner (HRBP) by managing a range of HR matters within designated business unit(s). Your contributions will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of HR services to key stakeholders within the University.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition and HR Shared Services teams to manage administrative processes, ensuring timely hiring of the right talent for the business unit
  • Contract Renewals: Coordinate with key stakeholders to administer contract renewals for researchers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies
  • Performance management: Support the HRBP during the performance management cycle, including tracking timelines, helping People Managers understand performance management tools and practices, and consolidating data to facilitate discussions
  • Ensure that HR data is accurate and assist in preparation of HR reports and key updates to facilitate decision-making
  • Provide HR advisory services regarding the university's policies and work processes
  • Collaborate with the HRBP and HR Centres of Expertise on HR projects, including policy and process reviews
Qualifications
  • Degree with at least 3 years of experience in human resources administration or a related field. Candidates with prior experience of working in an educational / academic / research environment would have an added advantage
  • Highly attentive to details, ability to multi-task and manage deliverables under tight timelines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and evolving HR needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated
  • Candidates with prior experience in using Workday system would have an advantage
