Join our multi-disciplinary team as a Development Programme Manager in Cloud Platform and Services. In this role, you will collaborate with developers, architects, cloud infrastructure & network engineers, cybersecurity experts and UX designers to deliver impactful cloud platform solutions that meet the unique operational requirements of DSTA and MINDEF/SAF. You will tackle complex challenges alongside forward-thinking, empathetic and driven professionals. The key areas of focus include:

  • Cloud Native Technologies: Leverage cloud native technologies such as containerisation, automation and CI/CD pipelines to build resilient on-premise cloud platforms that support mission-critical operations.
  • Infrastructure and Developers Services: Drive the development of common infrastructure and developers services to enhance productivity for both software engineers and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs).
  • Cloud Network and Server Infrastructure: Stay at the forefront of industry advancements in network and server infrastructure, virtualisation and cybersecurity, collaborating with leading to industry practitioners and experts to design and architect a secure, scalable technology solutions to meet the needs in the for national defence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, delivery and maintenance as a Programme Manager, from planning and design to implementation, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate and manage projects with a focus on cloud technologies, ensuring alignment with the broader organisational and operational requirements.
  • Foster collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams, managing a diverse range of expertise to deliver high-quality, product-oriented cloud solutions.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs, communicating complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience as Development Lead or Manager leading development, delivery and/or maintenance of software products.
  • Candidates with more than 5 years of relevant working experience may be considered for more senior position.
  • Candidate with working knowledge or related professional certification in cloud, infrastructure, network, software development, DevOps and cybersecurity will be advantageous.
  • Candidate should have strong understanding of cloud technologies, project/product management and agile development methodologies. Candidate should also possess the following traits:

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical concepts to key stakeholders and different audiences.
