Overview Pre-Sales Engineer, Card Issuance & Payments (Remote) — you will be a technical voice in the growth story, working with the sales team to demonstrate the value of Reap’s Card Issuance and Payments platforms. This is a strategic role where you will win new business and also scale your expertise across the sales organization by creating enablement materials and training. What You'll Do Be a Product Evangelist: master the technical intricacies of Reap’s products and deliver customized demonstrations that show their value to prospective clients. Solve Customer Challenges: lead technical discovery sessions, understand a client’s business needs, and design tailored solutions. Drive Technical Wins: own the technical aspects of the sales cycle, including managing Proofs of Concepts (POCs) to prove value and viability. Bridge the Gap: act as the technical liaison between clients and internal teams, enabling a smooth pre-sales to implementation transition and providing market feedback to product and engineering teams. Build Strong Relationships: establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Empower the Team: create and maintain technical sales collateral, and train the sales team on new features and the competitive landscape. What We're Looking For Experience: 2+ years in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, or similar client-facing technical role, ideally in FinTech, Payments, or SaaS. Industry Knowledge: strong understanding of the cards and payments ecosystem (card issuance, payment processing); foundational understanding of cryptocurrency is required, Web3 is a plus. Technical Acumen: comfortable discussing technical concepts, understand how APIs work, and quickly learn new technologies. Exceptional Communicator: able to translate complex technical ideas into clear language for diverse audiences and deliver engaging presentations. Problem-Solver: curious, critical thinker who enjoys tackling complex challenges to find the best solution. Collaborative Spirit: thrives in a team environment and works well with sales, product, and engineering teams. Education: degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field is a plus, but not required if you have equivalent experience. Languages: fluency in English required; proficiency in Mandarin, Spanish, or Portuguese is a strong asset.
