Overview

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and installing robust software solutions.

Responsibilities
  • The key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software projects using JAVA, Spring Boot, SQL/Oracle, J2EE, Junit, Mockito, JQuery, Javascript, and other JAVA technologies.
  • The individual should possess knowledge of Eclipse, GitHub, Soap UI, Postman, Jira, and SVN.
  • The individual should possess knowledge of Newgen Product suite including iBPS, OmniDocs, Omniscan etc and well versed with the concepts of Business process management.
  • The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in web application security, REST/SOAP API, and possess expertise in performance and scalability.
  • Experience in third-party integrations such as Corpass, SingPass, and Core Banking is essential.
  • Familiarity with application servers like Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss, and preferred.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, Sonar would be advantageous.
  • Hands on experience on AWS platform would also be advantageous.
  • The Senior Software Engineer is expected to actively participate in various stages of the software development lifecycle, including detailed design, coding, code walkthroughs, peer code reviews, unit testing, system testing, UAT, demos, POCs, installation, and maintenance of software modules.
  • Responsibilities include ensuring the preparation of crucial documents such as software prototypes, system architecture, software design documents, code review artifacts, installation/deployment documents, release documents, and technical documentation.
  • The incumbent will document and demonstrate solutions through the development of flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code. They will ensure that project tasks are completed within defined effort and timelines.
  • Other key responsibilities encompass preparing and installing solutions based on system specifications, standards, and programming. The candidate will be involved in testing processes, including writing test cases, unit testing, system testing, and negative testing. Troubleshooting activities involve log analysis and database query optimization.
  • The Senior Software Engineer is entrusted with protecting operations by maintaining confidentiality of information. Additionally, they provide valuable information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
  • This role demands a proactive and dynamic individual who can contribute significantly to the success of software projects and adhere to the highest quality standards.
