About our UK Colleges We operate a network of international colleges and university partnerships with 16 leading universities in the United Kingdom, offering a wide range of pathway programmes for international students, including Foundation Certificate, International Year One and Pre‑Masters options. Responsibilities Counselling students and parents about study options at Kaplan’s colleges and university partners Taking part in education exhibitions, and organising student recruitment events and activities Assessing events and activities for return on investment to decide on best use of resources Managing agent relationships, with an emphasis on training and support to ensure high loyalty and best performance Being the main point of contact for agents and responding to their enquiries in an efficient and effective manner always within 24 hours Following up with applicants and offer holders Identifying new student recruitment and business development opportunities Maintaining excellent relations with both internal and external stakeholders Monitoring competitor developments and market trends Providing promotional and logistical support to Kaplan International Pathways overseas staff and university partners as required for incoming visits Candidate Profile The successful candidate will be results‑orientated with the capacity to build strong relations with both internal and external stakeholders. They will have a customer‑facing approach and provide excellent advice and guidance to prospective students and agents, and be happy to work weekends and evenings when required for student recruitment events and activities. Essential Criteria An undergraduate degree (UK On Campus preferred) Experience working in the field of international education or student recruitment At least 4 years’ experience gained working in a responsible customer‑facing role. Fluent in English, speaking and writing. Customer focus, self‑motivation, ability to prioritise effectively, be flexible and manage your time under pressure Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills High level of enthusiasm, motivation, personal commitment and independence to undertake periods of work without supervision Problem solving and organisational skills to deal with complex and difficult situations as they arise High level of literacy and attention to detail to produce clear concise reports Using sales techniques, influencing applicants to accept their offers Documenting all calls and communication with students in company systems Desirable A proven track record of delivering successful international student recruitment campaigns Good knowledge of overseas education systems and qualifications An understanding of visa regulations and market trends in international higher education Application Procedure If you have the requisite experience and are excited by the opportunity of working in a dynamic and growing company, please apply with your CV and a covering letter.
