We are seeking a seasoned Senior Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in supporting Fixed Income trading systems, specifically Ion MarketView. You will be the primary support contact for front office trading teams, ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of mission-critical trading platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line production support for Ion MarketView and associated fixed income trading systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across pricing, risk, and order management flows.
  • Liaise with traders, quants, developers, and vendors to manage incidents and ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to ensure high availability.
  • Support integration and connectivity with Bloomberg and other market data sources.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in application support within financial services, with a focus on Fixed Income.
  • Hands-on experience with Ion MarketView is essential.
  • Strong understanding of trading workflows and front-office environments.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, FIX protocol, and Unix/Linux systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a trading floor environment.
