Responsibilities include evaluating complex issues, prioritizing and validating information from multiple sources, and providing leadership within teams. The role involves coaching and training new recruits and influencing decisions through advice and facilitation.
About the Team:
The Data Technology team aims to provide a competitive advantage through high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective reference data technology and operational solutions. Olympus, our next-generation Data Fabric, leverages big data platforms like Cloudera to streamline data sources and enable advanced analytics, client, regulatory, surveillance, and risk reporting.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical and business support for Citi applications, ensuring quick resolution of issues and driving stability and efficiency.
Maintain and support application systems in daily operations, focusing on stability, quality, and functionality.
Perform start-of-day checks, continuous monitoring, risk reconciliations, and support application releases and updates.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, assess risks, and implement contingency plans.
Act as a liaison between users, technology teams, and vendors, and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in application support roles.
Experience with business applications installation, configuration, and support.
Knowledge of programming languages and a willingness to learn new skills.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
