About the role and the expectations for a senior SAP FICO & S4 HANA finance professional with pre-sales experience in a client-facing environment.

About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Partner with key stakeholders to transform business processes to improve key performance.
  • Responsible for building a multi-year roadmap while respecting architecture standards.
  • Work with all team leads to design, build, and implement complex solutions.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
  • Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements including the facilitation of workshops to collect business requirements.
  • Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve issues and problems.
  • Take complete responsibility of designing and delivering solutions in SAP which integrate with satellite systems.
  • 15+ years of SAP FICO experience in application management and development projects in large MNC / India Domestic accounts with 4 full lifecycle implementations in ECC and hands-on in SAP FI & CO with experience in integration of apps.
  • In-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Asset Accounting/Banking Reconciliation Statement/Costing.
  • SME with in-depth knowledge of SAP FICO touch points with other SAP modules.
  • Expert in designing and delivering solutions in standard SAP as well as customised solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Well versed with configuring and delivering MT940 based statements and reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of integrations and interfaces on BW, BPC, third party systems, Concur, Ariba, VIM.
  • Knowledge of SAP Materials Management and integration with FICO for service industry.
  • Experience in FI module integrated with Ariba, BOTS, Fiori P2P apps.
  • Process knowledge of RE FX module is desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS setup and reporting requirements.
  • Experience with India tax and configuring tax procedures for other countries.
  • Ability to understand customisations and resolve issues with a holistic view of the architecture.
  • Design and deliver solutions in a complex SAP environment; guide/lead FI team members in day-to-day operations.
  • Articulate solution details to client teams and obtain buy-in for implementation.
  • Experience with RICEFW developments/enhancements for custom solutions; debugging skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of user exits, BAPI, and uploading tools like LSMW, BDC, LTMC; exposure to cut-over strategies.
  • Experience in multi-unit scenarios (multiple company codes, plants, etc.).
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA SFIN and CFIN is an added advantage.
